Going Deep in 2026
This year we are striving for depth of knowledge by studying thoroughly through one section of the New Testament, focusing primarily on the Book of Acts, but also digging into the epistles of Paul.
June Tasks
2 Corinthians
June 1–7 Read two chapters each day
June 8–20 Read one chapter each day and journal about the following questions/instructions, how these truths impact your life, and the specific verses that your answers come from.
June 8 — Chapter 1: What do I see about comfort and affliction?
June 9 — Chapter 2: How should we treat one who has repented and why?
June 10 — Chapter 3: What are the differences between the ministry of the letter and the ministry of the Spirit? How does it switch/change one’s life?
June 11 — Chapter 4: Name Paul’s goal, obstacle, and hope.
June 12 — Chapter 5: Differences between Earth and heaven. Things to learn/know about reconciliation.
June 13 — Chapter 6: What did Paul endure as a servant of God? Things to keep in mind as the temple of God.
June 14 — Chapter 7: Write about Paul’s integrity. What are different types of grief and their results?
June 15 — Chapter 8: List out the evidences of the grace of God.
June 16 — Chapter 9: Things to learn/know about giving.
June 17 — Chapter 10: Write about the war we are in and boasting.
June 18 — Chapter 11: List Paul’s concerns/fears. What had Paul suffered for the sake of the gospel? How have you suffered for the gospel?
June 19 — Chapter 12: In what will Paul boast and not boast? How does Paul view things that cause him weakness and difficulty? What was Paul willing to do for them?
June 20 — Chapter 13: What instructions/warnings does Paul give?
June 22–28 Read two chapters each day.
May Tasks
Acts
READ — One chapter each day
JOURNAL — Questions to ask as you read:
- What do I see/learn about the local church?
- What do I see/learn about the gospel?
- What do I see/learn about evangelism?
There is one, two, or all three in each chapter.
MEMORIZE — Read each day and try to recite to someone (one passage per week):

April Tasks

READ — One chapter each day
JOURNAL — Write down at least one thing that you see about the gospel, e.g.: it should unite, it is folly, saved us from, saved us to, how it changes and guides us, etc.. There is at least one thing in each chapter.
MEMORIZE — Extra Credit: Memorize a passage per week:
- 1 Corinthians 1:23-25
- 1 Corinthians 8:6
- 1 Corinthians 9:22-23
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
