2026 Bible Reading Plan
Going Deep in 2026
This year we are striving for depth of knowledge by studying thoroughly through one section of the New Testament, focusing primarily on the Book of Acts, but also digging into the epistles of Paul. To facilitate this, we’ve made a bit of a friendly game, essentially like Bingo, to help keep us all on track.
Instructions
If you haven’t already picked up a physical board and the accompany tasks list, you’ll need to do that on a Sunday morning. Our “game” board consists of an 8×8 grid: 64 square, which represents one square for each month (12) plus one square for each week of the year (52). Each of those squares represents a task (listed below) that you must complete.
Setting up the Board
Once you have the board, randomly fill in squares with one number each from 13-64. (Use all of the numbers in the range, and do not repeat a number.) You then should have 12 blank squares scattered around your board. If you’d like, you can click the button below to get a random board that you can copy to your physical board.
Please, write your name in the proper space at the bottom of the board. (We all have them, so if you misplace yours, it will be much easier to return the right board to you!). Have someone else sign or initial your board just to verify that you’ve completed the first steps.
Tracking Your Progress
Each week, we will draw a number corresponding to one of 52 weekly tasks (see below). Circle that number on your board so that you remember which task to do for the week. When you complete that task, X out that square.
In addition to the weekly tasks, there are monthly tasks (see below). Each month, you can cross out one blank space of your choice when you have completed that month’s task.
The Wall will have additional information, including additional handouts needed for some numbers.
